Slovenian supercar maker previews its second model ahead of its imminent reveal.
Solvenian supercar-maker Tushek, best known for its Renovatio T500, has revealed the first images of its upcoming mid-engined exotic: the Forego T700. The Renovatio T500 managed a 0-62 mph sprint time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 192 mph, yet only generated 450 horsepower. That was a result of its lightweight construction. For the Forego T700, an even lighter chassis has been used for a curb weight of no more than 1,000 kg, which has been coupled to a more powerful engine, specifically an Audi-sourced V8 rated at over 700 hp.
Like the McLaren P1 and LaFerrari, the new supercar will be built around a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, but will boast some titanium parts. A racing variant dubbed the T700 Pista is also in the works, with both cars tipped to be introduced at next month’s 2013 Top Marques Monaco, where Tushek revealed the Renovatio T500 last year.
