New spyshots have emerged of what could be the 2015 Lamborghini Aventador SV undergoing high-speed testing at the Nurburgring.
While the Lamborghini Aventador has only been in production since 2011, a couple of new prototypes have been spied in recent months with the latest black example just being the latest in what appears to be a higher-downforce producing Aventador to the standard car.
Just like the spyshots we showed you recently of a yellow lamborghini aventador sv prototype e, this particular car can be seen wearing an additional front wing to increase downforce on the front wheels with a new gurney flap then appearing on the car’s rear wing.
While a Lamborghini Aventador SV is likely to be produced in the coming years, if the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV was anything to go by, an Aventador SV wouldn’t debut for at least the next 4-5 years suggesting that Lamborghini could simply be testing new components for the 2014 specification Lamborghini Aventador.
If however, this car does depict a Lamborghini Aventador SV, then it’s inevitable the car will undergo significant performance enhancements over the regular Aventador with its 6.5-liter V12 likely to be uprated to around 800hp, if not even more.
Combined with a lower kerb weight thanks to a lighter exhaust system and a selection of other weight saving devices, the Lamborghini Aventador SV could certainly hit 62mph in around 2.5 seconds.
