The police were carrying out checks on vehicles for things such as insurance documentation and one such car that was checked was this matte black Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 from Kuwait.

The owner produced his documents including a cover note from his Kuwaiti insurance company that specifically mentioned his policy being valid in the UK however this wasn’t enough for the police, and while one was taking photos of the incident, the other set about putting the wheels in motion for the car to be towed away and impounded.

The owner was very sure that there was nothing wrong, and I believe this to be the case, but it is purely a bureaucratic thing that the single piece of paper that is required was missing and will be produced the next day for immediate release of the vehicle. My thoughts are that the police need to act important, and one such way they do this in London is to take it out on people with nice cars; I’ve seen it happen enough times.
