Chevrolet and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced in a press release today that the ChevroletCamaro ZL1 Pace Car will lead the NASCAR Sprint Cup field to the start the Brickyard 400 on Sunday, July 28 in Indianapolis.

ESPN “SportsCenter” anchor and Indiana University graduate Sage Steele will drive the Camaro ZL1 Pace Car, the release said.

Chevrolet has paced the previous 19 Sprint Cup races at IMS. This is the sixth time a Camaro has paced the race.
